How Does Engagement With Nature Shape Children’s Well-Being?
In the next event of its Global Reflections series, Institute Social will host Abdul Samad Khan, Founder and CEO of Youth Impact, an organization that designs rehabilitation and reintegration programmes for children and young people in regions across Pakistan where structural disadvantage is particularly acute, alongside leadership and capacity-building training. In his talk, titled “How Does Nature Affect Children's Well-Being?” Khan will present nature engagement as an “experiential environment” that simultaneously nurtures children’s emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility, and sense of social belonging.
Drawing on field experience, Khan will discuss with concrete examples how contact with nature can reduce stress, enhance attention, and strengthen a sense of community and belonging.
We look forward to welcoming you to our online event.
