Malaysia has launched Ryt Bank, the world’s first AI-powered bank, created by YTL Group in partnership with Sea Limited. Designed to reflect the country’s cultural diversity, the app is available in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with Mandarin support coming soon, making banking accessible in the language Malaysians use every day.
At its core is Ryt AI, a digital assistant powered by ILMU, Malaysia’s first homegrown large language model. It allows users to interact naturally—paying bills, tracking expenses, and learning financial basics in simple terms. Ryt Bank also offers daily interest savings, instant credit with no fees, a versatile Visa card with global perks, and enterprise-grade security backed by PIDM protection, delivering a modern and inclusive banking experience.
