Poland Launches Nationwide AI Education Programme for Schools
Poland has launched a new national education programme aimed at helping teachers and students use artificial intelligence responsibly. The “ZBADAI” initiative was unveiled by Education Minister Barbara Nowacka at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw.
The programme complements the government’s broader “Digital Student” initiative, which equips schools with AI and STEM laboratories across the country. While the Digital Student programme focuses on infrastructure, ZBADAI prioritises AI literacy, critical thinking, and ethical awareness.
As part of the project, teachers will be offered a free five-week online AI course, and teachers and students from 200 schools will take part in AI-focused research projects with support from scientists and experts.
