Münire Handan Kaya completed her undergraduate studies in Turkish Language Teaching and Mathematics Teaching at the University of Duisburg-Essen. She earned her master’s degree at the Institute of Turkology at the same university with a thesis entitled “Hayy ibn Yaqzan and Robinson Crusoe in the Face of Nature’s Educational and Instructive Role.” In 2025, she was awarded her PhD from the Department of Sociology at Istanbul University with a dissertation examining the transformation of teaching experiences. She has worked as a teacher and education coordinator at various educational institutions. Based on her doctoral dissertation, her book entitled “Acemi Öğretmenin Dönüşümü: Eşikler, Taktikler, Güzergâhlar” (The Transformation of the Novice Teacher: Thresholds, Tactics, and Pathways) has been published. Kaya has also contributed book chapters on the relationships between technology, education, and language. She continues her research in applied sociology and the sociology of education, and currently serves as a researcher at Institute Social.
