Teaching European history and the study of violence, Professor Omer Bartov is widely recognized for reshaping genocide historiography. In his talk, “Seeing Beyond: Gaza, Genocide, and Historical View,” Prof. Bartov will explore the relationship between contemporary conflicts and their historical representations, focusing on questions of genocide, memory, and moral witnessing.
