Institute Social will host Prof  Muhammad Khalifa from the Ohio State University in the upcoming event of the “Global Reflections” series. Dr. Khalifa, who has conducted extensive research and fieldwork on culturally responsive leadership and the creation of liberatory educational environments in K–12 schools, both urban and rural, will deliver a talk entitled “The Decolonial Turn in Education Management: From Resistance to Renewal”. 

The discussion will address key issues such as the educational experiences of immigrant students, their encounters with exclusion in school settings, the role of community knowledge and cultural heritage in transforming school systems, and the importance of culturally responsive leadership in these contexts.
